Won-chang Choi

I am a Ph.D. candidate at Washington University in St. Louis, currently on the job market for the 2024-2025 academic year, specializing in financial economics with a focus on asset pricing. My research explores the idea of slow-moving capital and examines how market frictions, such as trading costs and information asymmetry, influence asset price dynamics. Additionally, I analyze how real capital reallocation costs affect misallocation and aggregate productivity. I also investigate the broader implications of inelastic financial markets for the macroeconomy.

Here are my CV and JMP summary.
